The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced that online registration for the 2026 Batch C mobilisation will open on Monday, 7 September 2026, for eligible Nigerian graduates from universities and mono/polytechnics within Nigeria and abroad.

Registration will close on Sunday, 13 September 2026.

Prospective Corps Members should use the correct registration option, confirm that their details are available for mobilisation and pay close attention to personal information entered during the process.

NYSC Batch C Registration Dates for 2026

The NYSC online registration portal will be open from Monday, 7 September to Sunday, 13 September 2026.

Eligible graduates are expected to complete registration within this period so that they are not left out of the Batch C mobilisation exercise.

The NYSC online registration portal is the stated website for the process.

Locally Trained Graduates Need NIN for Registration

A National Identification Number is required for NYSC online registration.

Prospective Corps Members who need guidance on obtaining or checking the number may refer to the NIN checking guide.

The registration option selected on the NYSC portal will depend on the applicant’s previous registration or deployment status.

Fresh Registration Applies to First-Time Applicants

A prospective corps member who has never registered on the NYSC portal should select “Fresh Registration”.

This option is for first-time registration.

Revalidation Applies to Previous Deployment Cases

A prospective corps member who was deployed during an earlier batch but did not report to orientation camp should select “Revalidation”.

This is different from starting a new registration.

Incomplete Registration Can Be Continued

A person who had registered previously but did not finish the process should select “Login Here” and continue the existing registration.

A second account should not be created for an existing registration.

Passport Photograph and Thumbprint Rules Apply

A webcam will be used to capture the prospective corps member’s face during online registration.

The applicant should be properly dressed for the passport photograph and blurred photographs are not permitted.

Thumbprinting must be completed personally. Proxy thumbprinting is not allowed.

Prospective Corps Members are also advised to monitor their own registration closely so that avoidable mistakes are identified before the process is completed.

Some Personal Details Affect NYSC Certificates

Date of Birth, Date of Graduation and Course of Study will appear on the Certificate of National Service or Exemption Certificate, where applicable.

These details cannot be corrected after camp registration.

Requests for correction of Name, Date of Birth, Course of Study, Class of Degree or Qualification should be made through the applicant’s dashboard where the correction option applies.

Some Locally Trained PCMs Have Extra Registration Steps

Prospective Corps Members serving in the Armed Forces should indicate their status during online registration and upload valid supporting documents.

Married female PCMs seeking marital concessions should upload the required marital documents during registration.

PCMs with disabilities should indicate this on the portal. Those with health challenges should also state this and upload the necessary supporting documents.

Foreign-Trained Graduates Have Separate Requirements

Foreign-trained Nigerian graduates must follow the requirements for overseas graduates during the mobilisation process.

The NYSC foreign graduate requirements page contains the requirements for this category, while further guidance is available on physical verification of foreign-trained graduates.

Foreign-trained graduates should not create multiple accounts.

Original copies of required documents must be uploaded and names should be entered exactly as they appear on the certificate.

Foreign-Trained Graduates Must Thumbprint in Nigeria

A foreign-trained graduate may complete online registration from any location.

Thumbprinting must still be completed in Nigeria before the person proceeds to orientation camp.

Foreign-trained graduates are also required to select a centre for pre-camp physical verification during online registration.

Evaluation May Be Required for Some Foreign Schools

A foreign-trained graduate whose school has not been evaluated should contact the Federal Ministry of Education in Abuja to obtain an Evaluation Letter.

The Evaluation Letter is to be submitted at NYSC National Directorate Headquarters in Abuja.

The SSCE result uploaded during the process must be equal to or greater than four years, as stated in the registration guidance.

Physical Verification Is Required for Foreign-Trained Graduates

Foreign-trained graduates should appear personally for physical verification after completing online registration.

They are expected to present original copies of their degree certificates, transcript and travel documents.

A person whose credentials have been verified during the pre-camp verification exercise should print the Clearance Slip and present it during camp registration together with the original documents.

Where a certificate requires translation, the translated version should also be taken to camp.

Exemption and Exclusion Apply Differently

A foreign-trained graduate who is exempted from national service will collect the Exemption Certificate at NYSC National Directorate Headquarters in Abuja.

A person excluded from service will print the Exclusion Letter through the online dashboard.

These outcomes are handled differently within the NYSC process.

NYSC Registration Portal and Senate List Check

Prospective Corps Members should confirm that their records have been uploaded by their schools before attempting online registration.

The NYSC Senate list verification guide can be used to check the relevant record before registration.

The stated NYSC registration address is the NYSC online portal.

Candidates should follow the instructions shown on the portal carefully because registration errors may affect mobilisation.

Cyber Cafe Registration Charges

Cyber cafe operators may charge between N5,000 and N6,000 for services provided to locally trained and foreign-trained prospective corps members.

The amount depends on location.

Prospective Corps Members who intend to use a cafe may refer to the NYSC accredited cyber cafe operators guide.

NYSC Batch C Registration Deadline

The deadline for 2026 Batch C online registration is Sunday, 13 September 2026.

Eligible prospective corps members should complete the process within the stated registration period.

Candidates should also check their dashboard, uploaded records and required documents before final submission.
