The Great Ife Students’ Union, through the office of the Secretary General, is proud to announce the official launch of its website, www.greatifesu.com , a digital platform designed to strengthen communication, transparency, and engagement between the Union and its members, alumni, and the wider public.
This project stands as one of the defining achievements of the outgoing administration and marks a significant milestone in the Union’s history, bringing the voice, activities, and identity of Great Ife students to a global audience.
The new website will serve as a central hub for Union announcements, news, events, and resources, offering students, alumni, and stakeholders around the world an easy and reliable way to stay connected with happenings at Great Ife.
The website was made possible through the generosity of Mr. Akeem Osungbade (Ak Wisdom), Chief Executive Officer of Oxgital. A proud alumnus of Obafemi Awolowo University and a former Chairman of Angola Hall, Mr. Osungbade personally oversaw this development from conception to completion, bringing his wealth of technical and industry expertise to ensure the platform meets world-class standards.
His commitment stands as a shining example of what is possible when alumnus and former union officers remain connected responsibly to their alma mater. On behalf of the entire student body, the Union extends its deepest gratitude to Mr. Osungbade for this invaluable contribution to our community.
As the outgoing Secretary General, and as this administration draws its tenure to a close, it is my honour to hand over this platform as a legacy for generations of Ife students to come. I encourage the entire student community to embrace this website, explore its features, and put it to good use. This platform is a statement of who we are on the world stage, and its impact will only be as strong as our collective engagement with it.
Together, let us continue to project the name of Great Ife with pride, unity, and excellence.
