UDUSOK Cut-Off Mark for 2026/2027 Admission Exercise

Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, UDUSOK, has released the cut-off marks for the 2026/2027 academic session.

The list gives applicants the course-by-course scores for merit, ELDS and catchment categories, so each candidate can check where he or she stands before the next admission step begins.

UDUSOK First Choice Rule

UDUSOK considers candidates who selected the university as their first choice.

A candidate who did not choose UDUSOK as first choice may not benefit from the cut-off list, since the school uses that choice status during admission checks.

The base score for many courses is 150.

Some programmes go higher.

What Merit, ELDS and Catchment Mean

The three columns do not carry the same meaning.

Merit is the general benchmark for candidates who do not fall under catchment or ELDS consideration, while ELDS refers to Educationally Less Developed States and may carry a lower mark for affected candidates.

Catchment covers nearby states.

For UDUSOK, candidates often link catchment with states such as Sokoto, Zamfara and Kebbi, as stated in the draft.

What Candidates Should Do After Checking the Cut-Off Mark

A candidate who meets the required score has crossed the first admission line, but the process does not end there.

Post-UTME details, screening updates and document checks still matter; one missed notice can affect the next step.

Candidates should keep checking the UDUSOK admissions portal for updates from the school.

If a Candidate Did Not Meet the Mark

A candidate who did not meet the listed mark should not guess the next step.

The person should wait for any further admission update from UDUSOK and check whether the school releases later guidance on available options.

Final Note on UDUSOK Cut-Off Marks

UDUSOK cut-off marks for 2026/2027 give candidates a clear view of the scores attached to each course.

A candidate should check the course, confirm the right category, keep an eye on the admission portal and prepare documents before the next stage starts.
