Ondo State University of Medical Sciences popularly known as UNIMED has released their school fees schedule for the new 2021/2022 academic session and it has been published online.
The UNIMED management has revealed the amount they require students of the institution to pay for the 2021/2022 academic session. The breakdown for the payment of the school fees is in the table below both for the indigenes and non-indigenes for the new students of UNIMED.

PAYNEMNTS NOT INCLUDED:
- INTERNET ACCESS: This payment for this service is N10,000 and it is a compulsory payment for all levels in the Ondo State University of Medical Science.
- ACCEPTANCE FEE: The payment for this is N50,000 and it’s compulsory to pay this before resuming for school activities because one might miss out on some necessary school activities including exams without paying. This amount is for 100 LEVEL & 200 LEVEL DIRECT ENTRY.
- ACCEPTANCE FEE: This is paid by 200 LEVEL INTER-UNIVERSITY TRANSFER and is the amount of N70,000.
ABOUT UNIMED
The Ondo State University of Medical Sciences (UNIMED) could be defined as a life science university founded in 2015 in Ondo City, Nigeria, and it’s owned by the Ondo authorities. Africa’s third specialized medical university and also the first specialized medical university in Nigeria to be accredited by the Commission of National Universities.
A Nigerian professor in the field of gynaecology and also the founding father of the Women’s Health and Action Research Centre, a non-profit and charitable organization located in Benin City that is interested in supporting female’s reproductive research; Professor Friday Okonofua has the privilege to be the Vice-Chancellor of the Ondo State University of Medical Sciences.
The creation of the university was to establish a state university of medical sciences as a through the bill signed into law in 2014 by Olusegun Mimiko, the executive governor of Ondo State. The Ondo State House of Assembly introduced the bill in compliance with Schedule 1, Section 5(2), and Article 39(1) of the Ondo State Laws. On March 11, 2015, the first chancellor of the university, Professor Friday Okonofua, was appointed following the university’s approval by the National University Commission, NUC.
The university is composed of seven departments:
