Applicants are invited to seek admission to study nursing at Abia State University.
The university offers admission into their undergraduate program through:

In order to qualify for admission into the department of nursing through Direct Entry, you must have Two ‘A’ level passes from Biology/Zoology, Chemistry and Physics plus 3 other ‘O’ level credit passes in Mathematics, Physics and English Language.
NRN or its approved equivalent plus five ‘O’ level credit passes in English Language and one Science subjects chosen from Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology,Human Anatomy, Physiology and Hygiene, Health Science, Further Mathematics and General Science.

3) Imo State University

Study Nursing at IMSU
Imo state University department of nursing is a department under the faculty of Health Sciences Imo State University.
The department aim at:
 producing professional Nurses, Midwives and Community Health Nurse Practitioners capable of assuming professional responsibility in any healthcare setting.
2. developing through quality continued education, competent nurse practitioner to meet the diverse and rapidly changing health needs of the people of Imo State and Nigeria at large.
3. To advance public welfare through the preparation of competent polyvalent nurse practitioners who will provide safe, acceptable, effective and high quality health services to individuals, families and communities.
4. To increase the research awareness among nurses and provide a focus for the development and maintenance of high professional standards in nursing. The scientific knowledge generated by the research process will be integrated into the learning content of the programme and also be utilized in practice.
5. To uphold the academic standards stipulated by Imo State University.
UTME:
Candidates must have an appropriate pass in UTME examination of the Joint Admission Matriculation Board (JAMB). In addition the candidate must hold WASC/SSCE/ GCE/NECO or its equivalent with at least credit in 5 subjects (at not more than two sittings) including English language, Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics.
Direct Entry:
a. Candidate with Registered Nurse certificate must have five credits at ordinary level which must include English, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, and Physics at credit level at not more than two sittings,

4) Ambrose Alli University department of Nursing.

Ambrose Alli University is one of the state Universities in Nigeria with the best Nursing Facilities.

Gain Admission to Study Nursing at AAU.
The University offers admission in three processes.

You can be addmitted to study Nursing at the Nursing Department, Ambrose Alli University through one of the following ways.
  • through UTME
  •  DIRECT ENTRY
  •  Pre-Degree program.
UTME 
To gain admission to Study Nursing At AAU, Aspirants must have five credit passes in the following subjects: 
  • English
  •  Mathematics
  •  biology 
  • chemistry

DIRECT ENTRY.

The University Management has approved the 65% to be the post UTME Cut-Off Marks for the 2019/2020 Admission Exercise of Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma.
 Pre-Degree Program
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Foundation (Pre-Degree) Programme of Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma.
The Foundation (Pre-Degree) Programme is designed at preparing candidates who could not gain admission into the University through the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), but possess the minimum entry requirements for admission into 100 level in their respective courses. The programme runs for one academic session of two semesters.
Applicants must possess at least, five (5) credit passes in SSCE/WASC/GCE O’ Level/NECO/NABTEB at not more than two (2) sittings in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics.

5) Benue State University Markudi.

BSUM Department of Nursing is a department under the College of Health Sciences Benue State University Markudi.
The Department of Nursing gained full accreditation in the year 2018.
The University process of admission fall under three categories.
